Two trains each of length 150 m are moving in opposite directions at 36 km/ h and 72km/ h respectively time taken by them just cross each other completely is?

Explanation:

Length of first train= 150 metres

Length of second train = 150 metres

Velocity of first train = 36 km/h

= 36*5/18 = 10m/s

Velocity of second train = 72km/h

= 72*4/18 = 20m/s

Their relative speed = 10+20 = 30m/s

Time taken to cross each other = total distance /relative speed

= 150+150/30

= 10 seconds.
