Let us assume that the second train has traveled 350km more than the first train because speed of second train is (20km/hr) more than the first train and their starting time is same.

Time taken by the second train to cover 350km with the surplus speed of 20km/hr=

20km/hr

350km

=17.5hrs.

This time both the train takes before meeting point in opposite direction.

Relative speed of both train in opposite direction

=70km/hr+90km/hr=160km/hr

∴ Total distance covered =17.5hr×160km/hr=2800km
