Two trains move in the same direction at 50 kmph and 32 kmph respectively. A man in the slower train observes the 15 seconds elapse before the faster train completely passes by him. What is the length of faster train ? 1 100 m 2 90 m 3 50 m 4 75 m

Speed of faster train= 50 km/hr

Speed of slower train= 32 km/hr

Relative velocity of the faster train w.r.t slower train= (50-32)= 18 km/hr= 5m/s

Time required to cross the slower train completely= 15 sec.

So length of the faster train= s= v.t= 15×5= 75m
