two trains of 50 and 110 long are moving at 34 kilometre and 30 km per hour respectively in opposite direction how long would it take them to pass each other​

Answer:

lenght of two train = 50 & 110

Total lenght = 50+110 =160 m

so, both the train have to cover the distance 160 m.

speed of both the trains = 34 & 30 km/ hrs

or, 9.45 & 8.35 m/s

if they travel in opposite direction relative to them then, their speed = 9.45 + 8.34 = 17.79 m/s

finally, time = total distance/ speed

=160/17.79 = 9 sec

hence after 9 sec both will completly cross each other.
