Let length of train = a km/hr
Distance they have covered = a + a = 2a
Speed = (46 - 36) Km/hr
= 10 km/hr
= 10 * 5/18
= 25/9 m/sec
As we know, Distance = Speed * Time
2a = 25/9 * 36
2a = 100
a = 50.
Hope this helps!.
