length of each train be = x metres.

distance = x + x = 2x

speed = 46 - 36km/hr

         = 10km/hr

=10 *  ( 5 / 18 ) = 25 / 9m / sec

=2x = 25 / 9 * 36

=2x =900/9

=2x=100

= x = 50

∴ the length of each train is 50m.
