see when two object run in opposite direction the redultant velocity =72×5/18=20m/s since velocities are added.
distavelled 91m by train a and 109 m train b .
so total distance =200m so
t=200/20
=10second
HOPE IT WOULD BE HELPFUL AND CHEVK WETHER IT IS RIGHT OR WRONG

The total length of the train is 109 m + 91 m that is 200 metres. Total velocity of the train is 34 km/hr + 38 km/hr that is 72 km/ hr. Converting the speed in metre per second we get (72× (5/18)) m/s that is 20 metre per second. So the time needed to cross the trains are (200/20) secs that is 10m/s.

This process is done by calculating the relative distance and relative speed of the respective bodies.
