Answer: The speed of the second train is 60 km/hr.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Speed of the fast train = 80 km/hr

Time taken by the fast train is given by \frac{7}{2}\ hours

So, Distance covered by them is given by

Distance=Speed\times Time\\\\Distance=80\times \frac{7}{2}\\\\Distance=40\times 7\\\\Distance=280\ km

Since the same distance traveled by the other train in 1 hr 10 min later.

So, Time taken by the other train is given by

\frac{7}{2}+1\frac{10}{60}\\\\=\frac{7}{2}+1\frac{1}{6}\\\\=\frac{7}{2}+\frac{7}{6}\\\\=\frac{21+7}{6}\\\\=\frac{28}{6}\\\\=\frac{14}{3}\ hours

So, Speed of the second train is given by

Speed=\frac{Distance}{Time}\\\\Speed=\frac{280}{\frac{14}{3}}\\\\Speed=\frac{280\times 3}{14}\\\\Speed=20\times 3\\\\Speed=60\ km/hr

Hence, the speed of the second train is 60 km/hr.
