Two trains start running towards each other from two points located at a distance of 650 km. If they both walk towards each other at the same time, they meet after 10 hours. But if one of them starts 4 hours 20 minutes later than the other, then the train running after these two meet after 8 hour of walking find the average speed of each train

10=650/(x+y)

x + y = 65

8=D/65

D = 520

x covered (650 – 520) = 130 km in 4 hr 20 minutes

Speed of x = 130 × 3/13= 30 km/hr

Speed of y = 65 – 30 = 35 km/hr
