Let X distance is left to reach Delhi.

Given:-

Speed of first train , S1 = 100 km/hr = 27.78 m/s

Speed of second train , S2 = 136 km/hr = 37.78 m/s

Time interval , T = 45 min = 2700 s

To find:-

Distance from Delhi the second train S2 catches the first train S1.

We know that ,

Distance = Speed * Time .

Therefore , Distance , X = S2 * T

= 37.78 m/s * 2700 s

= 102006 m

= 102.006 km

Therefore, at 102.006 km distance from Delhi the second train S2 catches the first train S1.
