Two trains travelling in the same direction at 40 and 22km/hr completely pass off another in 1 minute . If the length of the first train is 125 m , what is the length of the second train?

∵ 18 km/hr = 5 m/sec

Let the length of second train = L m

Time taken to cross each other = 5L+125

∴5L+125=60⇒ L = 175 m
