Answer:

\huge\mathfrak\red{Answer = 3:2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Two triangles having bases 9 cm and 6 cm of equal height .

To find:-

Find the ratio of the area of those traingle.

Solution:-

Bases of bases of two triangles are 9cm and 6cm

Let they are b1=9cm and b2=6cm

They have equal heights

h1=h2=h cm

Formula:-

If the base is b units and height is h units of a triangle then the area of the triangle is 1/2bh=bh/2 sq.units

Area of the first triangle (A1)=9×h/2=9h/2 cm²

Area of the second triangle(A2)=6×h/2=3h cm²

Now, ratio of the areas of the two triangles

=A1:A2

=>9h/2:3h

=>(9h/2)/3h

=>9h/(2×3h)

=>9h/6h

Cancelling h

=>9/6

=>3/2

=>3:2

Therefore 3:2

Answer:-

The required ratio is 3:2
