Sexual and Asexual are two types of reproduction.
In sexual reproduction Gametes are required and variations are formed but in asexual reproduction gametes are not required and clones are formed.

the two types of reproduction are sexual and asexual reproduction. sexual repro. involves two parents where the gametes from the parents unite to form a single cell zygote.
asexual repro. on the other hand involves only one parent and there is no production of gamete. the parent body itself gives rise to young ones

I. budding ....some simple organisms reproduce by producing small outgrowths from their body. these outgrowths called buds break off from the parent organism and grow into new individuals. eg. in yeast

ii. fragmentation ...eg in Spirogyra
the cells of this alga form long filaments. if any part of the filament breaks, the fragment can grow into a new filament
