n(s) =total =36

n(E)= no. of possible outcomes= (1,6),(2,5),(3,4),(4,3),(5,2),(6,1)

n(E)=6

p(E)=n(E)/n(s)

p(E)=6/36

p(E)=1/6

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total possible outcomes = 36

No. of favorable outcomes = 5 [as the possible outcomes are (1,6),(2,5),(3,4),(4,3),(5,2),(6,1)]

Probability = 5/36

Hope it helps!  :D

ALR6309: I think there is a typo in my answer, the no. of favorable outcomes is 6 the Probability is 6/36
