Answer:

A vector =  2cm

B vector = 3cm

Magnitude of resultant vector = R = \sqrt{A^{2} + B^{2}  }

                                                           = \sqrt{2^{2} + 3^{2}  }

                                                           =\sqrt{13}

direction of resultant vector = tanα = A\B

                                                             = 2/3

                                                             = 0.66

                                                         α  = 33.5      (tan33.5 = 0.66)

A vector = 2(2)cm = 4cm

B vector = 3cm

Magnitude of resultant vector = \sqrt{A^{2} + B^{2}  }

                                                    = \sqrt{4^{2} + 3^{2}  }

                                                    = \sqrt{25}

                                                    = 5

direction of resultant vector = tanα = A/B

                                                             = 4/3

                                                             = 1.33

                                                          α = 53            ( tan53 = 1.33)
