Theory :-

If a vector A has magnitude a, and vector B has magnitude b, then

Magnitude of the resultant vector is given by

|R| = $\sqrt{a^2+b^2+2abcos\alpha }$ where α is the angle between the two given vectors.

Calculation :-

Magnitude of resultant vector

R = $\sqrt{5^2+7^2+2.5.7cos60^o}$ = $\sqrt{74+35}$ = $\sqrt{109}$ units
