two vectors are given by p=i+2j-k. & Q=2i-j-3k. find P+Q?​

Answer:

P + Q = ( i + 2j - k ) + ( 2i  - j - 3k )

         = ( i + 2i ) + ( 2j - j ) + ( -k - 3k )

         = 3i + j - 4k

P = i+2j-k

Q = 2i-j-3k

P+Q = i+2j-k+2i-j-3k= 3i+j-4k (Magnitude + Direction)

|P+Q| = (Magnitude)

 \sqrt{ {(3)}^{2}  +  {(1)}^{2} +  { ( - 4)}^{2}  }   \\ =  \sqrt{9 + 1 + 16}  \\  =  \sqrt{26}
