To find: Area of the rectangle.

We know that all angles of the rectangle are right angles.

So, Coordinates of the remaining vertex on y-axis are ( 0 , -1 ) and ( 0 , 9 )

From figure (attached)

Length of the Rectangle = AB

Breadth of the rectangle = CB

⇒ Length, AB = \sqrt{(6-0)^2+(-1-(-1))^2}=\sqrt{6^2+(-1+1)^2}=\sqrt{6^2+0^2}=6

⇒ Breadth, CB = \sqrt{(6-6)^2+(9-(-1))^2}=\sqrt{0^2+(9+1)^2}=\sqrt{0^2+10^2}=10

Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

                                     = AB × CB

                                     = 6 × 10

                                     = 60 unit²

Therefore, Area of the Rectangle is 60 unit².
