Vessel A Acid : water :: 1 : 2

Let say 3x liter of Vessel A is taken

then x liter is acid & 2x liter is Water

Vessel B Acid : water :: 3 : 1

Let say 4y liter of Vessel B is taken

then 3y liter is acid & y liter is Water

3x + 4y = 5 ( total Mixture)

Acid = x + 3y

Water = 2x + y

Acid = water

=> x + 3y = 2x + y

=> 2y = x

3x + 2x = 5

=> x = 1

=> y = 1/2
