Explanation:

In A, ratio of milk to water is = 4:5

In B, ratio of milk to water is = 5:1

Ratio of milk to water when A and B mixed = 5:4

Quality of milk in A= 4/9

Quality of milk in B= 5/6

Quality of milk in final mixture = 5/9

Applying rule of Allegation,

We get,

A:B as 5:2
