n1=mol of N2. (when flask is not connected)

n2=mol of O2. (when flask is not connected)

Now total mol N (when flask is connected)

So,. N=n1+n2. (N=PV/RT)

PV/RT =(p1v1/RT1 )+(p2v2/RT2). Eqn……(1)

T=T1=T2

v1=1, v2=3, V=1+3=4

p1=100kpa. p2=320kpa

Now putting all value p1,p2,v1,v2,V

R and T both side same so they cancelled

So net term of eqn (1)

PV=p1v1+p2v2

P(4)=(100×1)+(320×3)

P×4=100+960

P=1060/4

P=265kpa
