Answer:

The cost of white washing the two walls at the rate of ₹ 420 per 10 m² is 14364

Step-by-step explanation:

For first wall,

              Length=12 m

              Breadth=8 m

  Area =Length× Breadth

          =12 ×8=96 m²

Both side of the wall to be painted so total area to be painted in first wall =192 m²

For first wall,

            Length=10 m

             Breadth=7.5  m

Area =Length ×Breadth

        = 10 ×7.5=75 m²

Both side of the wall to be painted so total area to be painted in first wall =150 m²

Total area to be painted =192 +150=342 m²

The cost of white washing the  walls at the rate of ₹ 420 per 10 m²

For 342 m²=420 ×34.2=14,364

ANSWER

₹7182

GIVEN:-

First □wall

length:-12m

breath:-8m

second □wall

length:-10m

breath:-7.5m

STEPS

Area of first wall

Length × breath

12×8m

96 m

Area of second wall

Length ×breath

10×7.5m

75 m

Area of both wall

96 m + 75 m

171 m

Cost of painting both walls

171m ÷10 = 17.1 m

17.1m×₹420 = 7182
