Loudness of sound is directly proportional to amplitude,so the wave having amplitude 5cm produce loud sound.

What do I mean by directly proportional is: When amplitude increase the loudness also increases.

When you want to say that the increase in one's quantity will lead to the decrease in the other's quantity you should use inversely proportional to each other.

Hope it helps

Thank you.
