✪ Answer : Pitch is that feature of sound which directly depends upon Frequency.

In same way, loudness depends upon Amplitude.

So, if two waves having frequency of 256 Hz and 512 Hz, then the pitch of first wave with 256 Hz frequency will be low than the pitch of wave having 512 Hz frequency.

On the other hand, since their amplitude are same, so the loudness of both waves will be equal.

Hello friend!

Question:

Two waves have frequencies of 256Hz and 512 Hz but same amplitude.compare their •loudness •picth

Answer:

(i) 1 : 1, (ii) 1 : 2

Explanation:

(i) If amplitude is the same, loudness is also same so answer is 1 : 1

(ii) Ratio of frequencies = 256 : 512 = \frac{256}{512} = 1 : 2

Hope it helps!
