Two wires A and B are of equal length and have equal resistance . If resistivity of A is more than that of B which wire is thicker and why ?

If the materials are same, for constant length and resistance, area is directly proportional to resistivity. So more the resistivity, more the area of cross section (thickness). Therefore, A is thicker than B
