Two wires made of the same material are connected in parallel across the mains. The length and
radius of one wire is three times that of the other wire. If heat produced in the shorter wire is
100j , then calculate the heat produced in the longer wire.
300j

Hey dude, what's your question??there is no unanswered question in your para...and yes if u need help on the resistance factors, then I will surely help you...

LET'S LEARN ABOUT THE 4 RESISTANCE FACTORS...

  • LENGTH OF THE WIRE
  • it affects the resistance as longer wires are having more resistance than shorter wires. The length of the wire is directly proportional to resistance.
  • MATERIAL OF THE WIRE
  • it affects the resistance of the wire as an example silver wire will have less resistance than copper wire of the same size. The conductor affects the flow of electrons that depends on its conductivity.
  • CROSS-SECTION AREA
  • it is having an inverse relationship with resistance means a thicker wire will have less resistance as compared to a thin wire.
  • TEMPERATURE
  • it is directly proportional to resistance means if the temperature increases then the resistance will also increase because temperature also increases the number of collisions of electrons to the electrons of the conductor.

In your question, the wires are made of same metal then no issue on material but one is 3 times in length of the another one so the resistance will also be 3times of the resistance of the 1st one, means if 1st's resistance is 100 ohms the the second's resistance will be 300 ohms.

✌️✌️ THANKS ✌️✌️
