We know that, R=ρL/a

Therefore resistances of wires are ρ1 L/a  and  ρ2 L/a

R=L/a(ρ1 + ρ2)

As, V=IR

V=I X  L/a(ρ1 + ρ2)

ρ=(R X a)/L

ρ=(L/a(ρ1 + ρ2) X a)/2L

ρ=(ρ1 + ρ2)/2 ohm
