Two wires x and y are made of the same material have the same length. if the resistance of x us more than y which wire is thicker .why?

hey mate!!

resistance=rho*length/area

resistance is inversely proportional to the area
as X has more resistance, it's area is less whereas y has less resistance it's area is more. thus X is thin whereas y is thick

Y is thicker

cause Resistance is inversely proportional to thickness.
