Given,

Mass of Seema and Hema = 60kg and 80kg

Height = 1000 cm

Time taken by Seema and Hema = 25sec and 30sec

To find,

The difference in the power expended by Seema and Hema.

Solution,

Firstly, we have to calculate the work done by them.

Height = 1000 cm = 10 m

Seema's work done = (60×10×9.8) = 5880 joules

Hema's work done = (80×10×9.8) = 7840 joules

Seema's expended power = 5880/25 = 235.2 watts

Hema's expended power = 7840/30 = 261.3 watts

Difference = 261.3-235.2 = 26.13 watts

Hence, Hema's expended power is 26.13 watts greater than Seema's expended power.
