<u>Your Question - </u>

Two workers were paid 5925 Rs. altogether after they have completed their work. They divided this amount in the ratio 13:12. How much did each one get from the total amount?

<u>Solution -</u>

Let the total money got by first worker be '13x'.
And, let the amount got by second worker be '12x'.

Total money received by both together = 5925 Rs. (given)

Then,

Total money received = first worker's share + second worker's share.

=> 5925 = 13x + 12x

=> 5925 = 25x

=> 5925/25 = x

=> 237 = x

=> x = 237

So, money received by first worker
= 13x = 13 × 237 = 3081

And, money received by second worker
= 12x = 12 × 237 = 2844

<marquee>Hence, the first worker got 3081 Rs.

And, the second worker got 2844 Rs.</marquee>

Step-by-step explanation:

{\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Answer:}}}}}

♡ ↪Let the total money got by first worker be '13x'.

And, let the amount got by second worker be '12x'.

Total money received by both together = 5925 Rs. (given)

Then,

Total money received = first worker's share + second worker's share.

=> 5925 = 13x + 12x

=> 5925 = 25x

=> 5925/25 = x

=> 237 = x

=> x = 237

So, money received by first worker

= 13x = 13 × 237 = 3081

And, money received by second worker

= 12x = 12 × 237 = 2844

Hence, the first worker got 3081 Rs.

Hence,thefirstworkergot3081Rs.

And, the second worker got 2844 Rs.
