answer:-

1/x+8 + 1/x+4.5 = 1/x

1/x+4.5 = 1/x - 1/x+8

1/x+4.5 = x+8-x/(x(x+8)

1/x+4.5 = 8/(x(x+8)

x(x+8) = 8(x+4.5)

x² + 8x = 8(x+4.5)

x² = 40

x is equal to approximately 6.

Answer:

∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴∴

Step-by-step explanation:

1/x+8 + 1/x+4.5 = 1/x

1/x+4.5 = 1/x - 1/x+8

1/x+4.5 = x+8-x/(x(x+8)

1/x+4.5 = 8/(x(x+8)

x(x+8) = 8(x+4.5)

x² + 8x = 8(x+4.5)

x² = 40

x is equal to approximately 6.
