After ramesh worker for 3 days ,he is joined by suresh .

To Find:

In how many more days will they complete the assembling

Solution:

Ramesh's 1 day work = $\frac{1}{5}$

Suresh's 1 day work = $\frac{1}{7}$

Their 1 day work together = $\frac{1}{5}+\frac{1}{7}=\frac{12}{35}$

Ramesh's 3 days work =$\frac{3}{5}$

Remaining work = $1 - \frac{3}{5}=\frac{2}{5}$

They together do $\frac{12}{35}$work in 1 day

So,They do$\frac{2}{5}$ work in days =$\frac{35}{12} \times \frac{2}{5}=\frac{7}{6}=1.67$

Hence they will complete work in 2 more days
