Let Aryan's age be x and Kartik's age be y

ATQ, x-2=7(y-2)

x-7y=-12___1)

x+8=2(y+8)

x-2y=8___2)

Subtract 2 from 1 we get

-5y=-20

y=4 Putting this value in eq 1) we get

x=16

HENCE PRESENT AGE OF ARYAN IS 16 YEARS
