Let Ram and his daughters's age be x and y respectively.

Two years ago Ram was thrice as old as his daughter.

      x-2 = 3(y-2)

     x-3y = -4.........(1)

Six years later,Ram will be four years older than twice her.

     x+6 = 2(y+6)+4

     x+6 = 2y+12+4

     x-2y = 10...........(2)

On subtracting Eq(1) from Eq(2),we get

   y = 14

When y = 14 ,x = 38

Ram's age = 38

Daughters age = 14
