⇒x - 2 = 7y/2 - 7

⇒2x -4 = 7y -14

⇒7y - 2x = 10 -----> (1)

x+6 = 2(y+6) +10

⇒x+6 = 2y+22

⇒x-2y = 16 -----> (2)

Multiply (2) by 2

7y - 2x = 10

-4y + 2x = 32

⇒3y = 42

⇒ y = 14

⇒ x = 2(14) + 16 = 44
