x-2=5(y-2)                                                                                     x+2+3=3(y+2)

x-2=5y-10                                                                                     x+5=3y+6

x-5y= -10+2                                                                                   x-3y=6-5

x-5y= -8 [eq. 1]                                                                              x-3y=1 

                                                                                                         x=3y[eq.2]

substitue eq2 in eq1

3y-5y= -8

-2y= -8

y=4

Substiute y=4 in eq2

x=3*4

x=12
