Let Present age of Karma =x years

Let Present age of Dharma =y years

Sum of Their Age=61

X+Y=61

X=61-Y (Equation 1)

After 2 years

Karma Age will be= x+2 years

Dharma Age will be=y+2 years

Here Dharma Age (y+2) is 60 % more than (x+2)

Means

y+2=x+2+(x+2×60%)

y+2=x+2+(x+2×60/100)

y+2=x+2+((x+2)×3/5)

y + 2 = x + 2 +  \frac{3x + 6}{5}  \\  \\ y + 2 =  \frac{5x  + 10 + 3x  + 6}{5}  \\  \\ y + 2 =  \frac{8x + 16}{5}

Putting Value of X as 61-Y

y + 2 =  \frac{8(61 - y) + 16}{5}  \\  \\ 5(y + 2) =  488 - 8y + 16 \\  \\ 5y + 10 = 488 - 8y + 16 \\  \\ 5y +  8y = 488 + 16 - 10 \\  \\ 13y = 504 - 10 \\  \\ 13y = 494 \\  \\ y =  \frac{494}{13}  \\  \\ y = 38

We got Y=38

Age of Dharma=38 years

We know

X=61-Y.

X=61-38

X=23

Karma Age=x=23 years

Karma Age=23 years
