These lines are from William Blake’s famous poem The Tyger.
In these lines the poet is expressing his awe and admiration at the Creator of tiger. The poet wonders the tiger whose eyes shine fiercely in the dark forest, how daring and powerful the Creator’s hands must have been who not only made the tiger so perfectly symmetrically, but also put such a fierce spirit in it.
