➛ Assertive/Declarative sentence

A statement that declares something or makes an assertion is called Assertive/Declarative sentence.

➾ E.g. :- 1. Brazil is the largest exporter of coffee.

2. Today is a holiday.

➛ Interrogative sentence

A sentence which asks a question is called an Interrogative sentence.

➾ E.g. :- 1. What is your name ?

2. How much does this book cost ?

➛ Imperative sentence

A sentence which expresses commands, requests etc. is called an Imperative sentence.

➾ E.g. :- 1. Go to your home.

2. Do not disturb.

➛ Exclamatory sentence

A sentence which expresses a strong feeling is called an Exclamatory sentence.

➾ E.g. :- 1. I love to sing songs !
