cos P + cos Q   = 7/5  if In ΔPQR, ∠P and ∠Q are complementary angles and  sin Q= 4/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete Question :

if  sin Q= 4/5 , then cos P + cos Q  = ?

sin Q= 4/5  => Cos(90 - Q)  = 4/5

=> Cos P = 4/5

Cos²Q  = 1 - Sin²Q

=> Cos²Q  = 1 - (4/5)²

=> Cos²Q  = (3/5)²

=> CosQ  = 3/5

cos P + cos Q

= 4/5 + 3/5

= 7/5
