Answer:

There are three types of androecium according to the attachment and cohesion (joining) of stamens :

  • Monoadelphous

  • Diadelphous

  • Polyadelphous

Explanation:

In androecium, stamens may be free (For example : Petunia) or joined in different kinds like in single group , double group or in several groups.

Monoadelphous (Single group) :

Stamens are United in one group by their filaments. Only anthers are free.

Example : China Rose (Hibiscus), cotton.

Diadelphous (Two groups) :

The filaments are united in two bundles.

Example: Pea - because out of ten stamens , nine stamens form a staminal tube while one is free.

Polyadelphous (Several groups) :

The filaments are United in several groups.

Example : Bombax.

Answer:

stamen consists of anther and filament.

if anther is fused and filaments are free it is called synandrous condition

if filaments are fused and anthers are free it is called adelphy(monoadelphous-1bundle

diadelphous-2 bundles

polyadelphous-more than 2 bundles)

if both are fused then it is called syngenesious condition.
