जैव विविधता से तात्पर्य विस्तृत रूप से उन विभिन्न प्रकार के जीव-जंतु और वनस्पति से है जो संसार में या किसी विशेष क्षेत्र में एक साथ रहते है| जैव विविधता की समरसता को बनाये रखने के लिए हमारे लिए यह महत्वपूर्ण है की हम अपनी धरती की पर्यावरण संबंधित स्थिति के तालमेल को बनाये रखे| जैव विविधता का संबंध, जिसे हम जैविक विविधता भी कह सकते है, मुख्य रूप से अलग अलग तरह के पेड़ पौधों और पशु पक्षियों का धरती पर एक साथ अपने अस्तित्व को बनाये रखने से है|यह बहुत ही जरुरी है की ऊँचे स्तर की जैव विविधिता को बनाये रखने के लिए हम अपने प्राकृतिक परिवेश की अवस्था सही तरीके से बना के रखे| यहाँ पर जैव विविधता पर कुछ निबंध दिए जा रहे है जो आपको अपनी परीक्षा में इस विषय को समझने में मदद करेंगे|
