Types of cell (Biology )
Answers
Answer:
Hey mate ✌️
Explanation:
CELL :
Cell is the basic structure of organisms. All cells are made by the division of other cells.
History :
Cells were discovered by Robert Hooke (1635–1703).

Types of cells :
Generally , cells are of two types :
→ Prokaryotic
→ Eukaryotic
Prokaryotic cell (Bacteria) are the cells with no nucleus.
Eukaryotic cell are larger than Prokaryotic cells and are complex cells with many organelles.
Hope it helps ❣️❣️
Cell is the basic , structural and functional unit of life. It is the fundamental unit of life.
According to the Numbers , They are of two types :
1) Unicellular organisms
2) Multicellular organisms
Explanation:
1) Unicellular organisms : Those organisms which contain only one cell or the whole function in their body is performed by that single cell. such organisms are called unicellular organisms.
example- amoeba, paramecium etc.
2) Multicellular organisms : Those organisms which have more than one cell in their body structure. such organisms are called multicellular organisms.
Multicellular organisms shows division of labour i.e different cells are grouped together to do different functions in their body.
example- Humans , plants , fungi etc.
Two types of cells :
1) Prokaryotic cell
2) Eukaryotic cell
Explanation:
1) Prokaryotic cell :
● In Prokaryotes, the size of cell vary from 1 to 10mm.
● In Prokaryotes nucleus is absent.
● Prokaryotic cell contains only one chromosome.
● Organelles that are contained by nucleus are absent.
● Nucleolus is absent.
● Fission or budding takes place in such cells.
example- bacteria
2) Eukaryotic cell:
● In eukaryotes the size of cell vary from 5 to 100mm.
● In Eukaryotes nucleus is present.
● Eukaryotic cells contains more than two chromosomes.
● Membrane bound organelles are present in eukaryotic cell.
● Nucleolus is present in Eukaryotic cells.
● Cell division takes place by mitotic and meiotic cell division.
example- plants, animals
