Computer is a machine which has extraordinary capability of storing and processing a huge amount of information. Over the years, computers have undergone lot of changes in function,memory space,size and portability. Depending on the size and performance of computers,they are categorized into different types.

Supercomputers,mainframe and server are biggest and fastest computers. These are used by big farms,large government organisations,and in project like space exploration, earthquake studies,weather forecasting and so on. Personal computers are microcomputers,like the desktop,laptop,tablet etc.
