The posterior mandible was the most affected site (n=38, 71.7%). With regard to cyst type, follicular (n=27, 50.9%) and residual cysts (n=10, 18.8%) were the most common and the well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma (n=20, 37.7%) was the most prevalent malignancy.
