3 PERSONIFICATION- personification simply means making inanimate objects and abstract notions spoken of having life and intelligence.

example - the wind whispers secrets in my ear

4 HYPERBOLE - hyperbole is a figure of speech that makes something sound much more exciting or great in magnitude than it really is.

example- she wept oceans of tears

5 ONOMATOPOEIA- it is defined as a wprd , which imitates the natural sounds of a thing .

example- the birds chattered noisily

6 OXYMORONS- it is a figure of speech in which contradictory terms appear side by side .

example - Man proposes, God disposes

7 IRONY - it is a figure of speech in which words are used in such a way that their intended meaning is different from the actual meaning of words.

example- The name of India's biggest dog was "tiny".

8 ALLITERATION- this consist of the repetition of the same sound or syllable at the beginning of two or more words .

example- She sells seashells down the seashore.
