• Air Pollution: Discharge of chemicals and particulates like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons and Nitrogen oxides produced by industries and motor vehicles in to the environment.
• Light Pollution: It is caused due to over illumination and astronomical interference.
• Noise Pollution: This occurs due to roadway noise, aircraft noise, industrial noise as well as high-intensity sonar.
• Soil Contamination: It occurs due to releasing of chemicals through underground leakage. Among the most significant soil contaminants are hydrocarbons, heavy metals, MTBE, herbicides, pesticides and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
• Radioactive Contamination: It occurs due to radioactive activities like nuclear power generation and nuclear weapons research, manufacture and deployment.
• Thermal Pollution: It occurs due to change in temperature and natural water bodies due to coolant in a power plant.
• Visual Pollution: It occurs due to overhead power lines, motorway billboards, and scarred landforms, open storage of trash or municipal solid waste.
• Water Pollution: Release or discharge of commercial and industrial wastewater into surface waters; discharge of untreated domestic sewage, and chemical contaminants, such as chlorine, from treated sewage; release of waste and contaminants into surface runoff flowing to surface waters, waste disposal and leaching into groundwater; eutrophication and littering.

Pollution is one of the biggest problem on earth. It make the environment, air, water etc dirty and dangerous for everyone.
It leads to many changes in environment which are very dangerous for everyone.
There are many types of pollution. Some of them are -
1) Air pollution.
2) Water pollution.
3) Noise pollution.
4) Land pollution etc.
As the population is increasing day by day. So they need vehicles also for their comforts. But due to increase in vehicles on roads it cause air pollution to the environment.
Also the smoke produced by chimney of factories is also a reason for air pollution.
It leads to many diseases like asthma, irritation in eyes etc.
When we throw garbage, industrial wastes etc. in water it cause water pollution. Due to this many of the fishes dies. This leads to decrease in number of fishes.
As the vehicles are increasing on road day by day, due to this Noise pollution is also increasing day by day. Because they produce to much noise. Speakers also cause noise pollution.
Because of noise pollution children were unable to concentrate on their studies. Also people cannot sleep in noise.
Adding of fertilizers to plants cause soil pollution. Also when factories put their industrial chemicals in water and when we use that water for our crops also cause soil pollution...
So, we have to stop the pollution from increasing. Because it only harm us. We have to plant more and more trees. Because trees helps to purify air.
