Types of pollution during elections:

1) Noise pollution: this type of pollution is caused by the use of loudspeakers during the elections. The use of loudspeakers is usually for announcements and for playing various patriotic songs.

2) Land pollution: it is caused due to the pamphlets and the brochures used in the election campaign to advertise and boast about the candidate. These only add to the paper and plastic waste.

3) Air pollution: various vehicles used in the rallies of elections contribute to air pollution and the vehicular emission is the main reason for that. During elections, various rallies are conducted every day and the vehicles involved in it are great concern.
