There are four types of sentences:-
1. Assertive Sentence or Declarative
An Assertive sentence is a Sentence which states a statement or a universal truth spoken or written by the author.
Examples:- He was injured.
2. Interrogative Sentence
Interrogative Sentence asks a question. Remember, Question mark is necessary after Interrogative Sentences
Examples:- Was he injured?
3. Imperative Sentences
Gives command, request or advice.
Examples:- Please ho and close the window.
4. Exclamatory Sentences
These sentences expresses a strong emotion. Remember, Exclamatory mark is necessary after Exclamatory Sentences.
