there are three types of solution on the basis of concentration isotonic, hypotonic and hypertonic .

The effect on cell:-

1.) isotonic solution:- the concentration of outside the cell are equal to the cytoplasm of the or inside the cell.

2.) hypertonic solution:- the concentration of solution outside the cell is more than that of cytoplasm of the cell or inside the cell. through this cell became plasmolysed.

3.) hypotonic solution:- the concentration of water outside the cell is less than that of cytoplasm of the cell or inside cell , thorugh this cell swells up and brust.
